SURREY FAMILY GARDEN
A redesign transformed this garden from a largely undeveloped space with limited planting and poor accessibility into a vibrant and abundantly planted landscape that complements the architecture of the house. Working with the site’s natural level changes, the garden was carefully regraded to improve views from the house, which sits at a lower level to the rear garden. A flowing pathway now connects to a secluded firepit terrace positioned at the highest point for views across the garden.
At the front of the property new steps were designed to reduce the steep approach to the entrance, creating a more welcoming and accessible arrival experience. Layered planting softens the architecture and provides seasonal colour and texture.
