SURREY FAMILY GARDEN

A redesign transformed the gardens and entrance of this family home from largely undeveloped spaces with limited planting and poor accessibility, into a vibrant and abundantly planted landscape that complements the architecture of the house. Working with the site’s natural level changes, the garden was carefully regraded to improve views from the house, which sits at a lower level to the rear garden. A flowing pathway now connects to a secluded firepit terrace positioned at the highest point for views across the garden.

At the front of the property planting was added and new steps were designed to reduce the steep approach to the entrance, creating a more welcoming and accessible arrival experience. Layered planting softens the architecture and provides seasonal colour and texture.
